Terms and Conditions

1. (Terms”). By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted these Terms, so please read these Terms carefully.
2. The promotion is open to all UK citizens aged 16 years and over with a UK postal address, except person connected with the promotion or Galleries Shopping Centre.
3. Prizes are provided by Galleries Shopping Centre.
4. The promoter of the competition is the Galleries Shopping Centre.
5. To enter applicants must following the instructions to nominate an entrant by sending a message to the Galleries via Facebook messenger. Galleries Facebook page and messenger link can be located at facebook.com/gallerieswashington
6. The message must include the nominee’s full name followed with the word relating to the draw you are entering, either: TRIMMINGS, TOYS, TECH, SCENT, FIZZ or STYLE. The message must include a simple one-line reason why you are nominating.
7. This competition is not open to employees of the Galleries Shopping Centre or anyone connected with the competition. Galleries Shopping Centre reserves the right to disqualify any entries which it deems, at its sole discretion, to contravene the spirit of the competition.
8. The competition will open at 00:00 hours on the 14 December 2020 and close at 17:00 hours on 20 December 2020
9. Winning nominations will be selected at random and notified by via direct message within 5 days from the close of competition to arrange to contact the nominee to tell them they have been nominated and have been awarded a prize.
10. Only one entry per person will go into the prize draw.
11. No purchase is necessary.
12. Prizes There are 12 prizes in total:
    2 x £100 Gift Vouchers for Asda
    2 x £100 Gift Vouchers for Sainsbury’
    2 x £100 Gift Vouchers for Game
    2 x £100 Gift Vouchers for Next
    2 x £100 Gift Vouchers for The Fragrance Shop
    2 x £100 Gift Vouchers for ToyTown
13. The winner will be required to confirm they are the winner of the prize via direct message on the social media channel.
14. The Prize will need to be collected and signed for at Galleries Shopping Centre. Valid UK identification will be required in order to collect the Prize.
15. If we are unable to make contact with the winner or they fail to confirm within 5 working days or do not comply with these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to award the Prize to an alternative winner chosen at random.
16. The prize winner must be able to collect the prize from Galleries in person within 1 month of being notified and photo ID will be required.
17. The Prize is not transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
18. The Prize may be subject to additional terms and conditions.
19. The winner agrees that the cost of and the responsibility for complying with such additional terms and conditions will be borne solely by the winner.
20. We reserve the right at any time to substitute an alternative prize of similar or greater value. Further, we reserve the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the Competition (including altering the Prize) by changing these terms and conditions. No communications will be entered into by us regarding this.
21. The winner agrees to participate in any and all advertising, promotion or other commercial activities relating to the prize draw and consents and agrees that their photograph, image, likeness and voice may be used by Galleries Shopping Centre in all related promotional activity without any rights of prior approval or inspection.
22. Galleries Shopping Centre cannot accept any liability for any entries which are late, lost or incomplete. No bulk, third party or trade entries accepted.
23. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
24. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions will automatically render a prize draw entry void. These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with English law.
25. The name and county/town of the winner will be available for one month after the prize draw’s closing date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the promoter.
26. We reserve the right to
    1. Award an alternative prize of equal or greater value;
    2. In exceptional circumstances, vary, amend or cancel this promotion at any time on reasonable notice, including varying the closing date for the promotion;
    3. Cancel or refuse any individual’s entry to the promotion if they are in breach of these Terms;
    4. and Amend these Terms, in which case we will use reasonable efforts to notify such changes to entrants and potential entrants.

28. These Terms and this promotion are governed by English law and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
29. All entrants’ data will be used solely for the purpose of contacting the winner.
