Oak Tree Animals was founded over 100 years ago to campaign for better working conditions for pit ponies and other working horses. Since then, they have now grown to rehabilitate and rehome hundreds of animals including horses, goats, donkeys, dogs and cats.

Their work in the community means that loving pet owners can find the information and resources they need to keep their animals happy, healthy and in good homes. Our team speaks to schools, community groups and colleges about animal welfare and offers advice on working with animals in the future, investing in our younger generations and providing them with the knowledge they need to help animals in the long term.

They welcome all donations, so if you have any unwanted clothes, books, toys etc. please don’t hesitate to bring them in.
