M The Galleries in Washington is celebrating a double accolade, highlighting its commitment to sustainability and safety excellence.
The centre has been awarded an International Green Apple Environmental Award for its innovative approach to energy conservation. This project involved upgrading mall and service corridor lighting by replacing outdated fixtures with energy-efficient LEDs and installing PIR (passive infrared) sensors in areas where lighting isn’t needed continuously. These improvements are part of M The Galleries’ ongoing dedication to reducing energy consumption and minimizing its environmental footprint.
In addition to its sustainability efforts, M The Galleries has been recognized with a prestigious RoSPA Gold Award for its exemplary health and safety management. This award acknowledges the centre’s continued efforts to provide a safe environment for tenants, customers, and staff alike.
