News — Celebrate World Book Day with Steven Udale at M The Galleries

World Book Day is just around the corner, and we’re thrilled to be celebrating it in the most magical way possible! This week, M The Galleries will be welcoming the wonderful Steven Udale, children’s author, storyteller, and all‑round creative spirit, for two days of family-friendly fun.

Steven will be joining us in Wessington Square, 12pm–4pm on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th March, bringing his stories to life and sharing the magic of reading with visitors of all ages. Whether you’re already a fan of his work or discovering his stories for the first time, this is the perfect chance to enjoy an afternoon filled with imagination and inspiration.

Meet the Author, Hear the Stories

Across both days, Steven will be reading some of his very own stories aloud, a treat for little bookworms and grown-ups alike. His storytelling sessions are warm, engaging, and perfect for encouraging a love of reading in young minds.

Dress to Impress for Our World Book Day Competition

To make the celebration even more exciting, we’re inviting everyone to come dressed as their favourite book character! From wizards and witches to heroes and villains, we can’t wait to see the creativity that walks through Wessington Square.

All costumed visitors will have the chance to enter our World Book Day competition, so dig out your best outfits and bring the magic of your favourite stories to life, comment on our Facebook Competition Post 5th-7th March!
