Competition Terms & Conditions
Introduction
By participating in the competition advertised as the ‘Galleries 50th Anniversary Competition’, you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions. This competition is being run by The Galleries, L&C Investments Ltd; also known as The Galleries, Washington
Eligibility to Enter
The competition will run until all 50 goodie bags have been claimed - so grab yours quick!
The competition is open to entrants over 18 years of age. The Galleries employees and associates are excluded from the draw. The entrants will have to had their 50th birthday between the following period: 1st January 2024 – 31st December 2024.
Only one entry per customer.
All entrances must take a photo of them at The Galleries, post it on Facebook or Instagram and tag our correct channel in the photo to the entered, along with sharing their 50th birthday with the Galleries in 2024.
By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you.
You will have to have resided within the UK for the past 3 years to enter.
The Prize
The winning prizes will be the following (may change/additional prizes):
Galleries 50th Anniversary special goodie bag including personalised Galleries merchandise, and £30 shopping voucher to spend at The Galleries.
The use of specific brands as prizes by The Galleries does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.
The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.
We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.
The Galleries' decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
Winners Announcement
The competition will be running until all 50 goodie bags have been claimed. Winners will be contacted as soon as the phot has been posted onto our social channels.
The winners will be chosen at random by a random online generator once the photo has been posted on Facebook/Instagram and we have been tagged in the image. They will be notified via social media message. The Galleries will make two attempts to contact the winners.
Valid ID will be needed upon the collection of the prize failure to do so will result in the prize being handed to another participant.
If the winners does not respond to the call and email informing them of their win within 14 days of the second attempt of contact, they forfeit their right to the prize, and The Galleries reserves the right to select and notify a new winners.
Collection of the Prize
The winners will be given a day for all prize winners to come and collect the goodie bags together along with a photo opportunity. We will allow 14 days for the prize to be available to collect if the collection date cannot be met, otherwise, alternative collection or delivery arrangements can be made through mutual agreement.
Data Protection and Publicity
You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by The Galleries for the purposes of administering the competition and for the other purposes as specified in our Privacy Policy.
All entrants may request information on the winning participants by emailing digitalmarketing@lcpproperties.co.uk
If requested by The Galleries, the winners agrees to release their first name and first letter of surname to any other competition participants.
The winners’ first name and first letter of surname will be announced on the Galleries website and social media channels.
Limitation of Liability
The Galleries accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of participating in the competition or being selected for a prize.
General
The Galleries reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions.
